Avicraft is a Sabah-based production company that produces original contents and music composition for domestic and international clients. With extensive film and music production experiences, High-Definition cameras combined with the latest digital editing platforms, Avicraft is now fast becoming one of the nation's leading production houses.

Avicraft is a production company based in Sabah, Malaysia. This company offers original contents and features from documentaries, corporate information to music composition for domestic and international markets.

Founded in 2004 by Managing Director Jusry Juwait, Avicraft is a team of creative professionals with great interest in the film and music industry. Registered under the National Film Development Corporation of Malaysia (Perbadanan Kemajuan Nasional Malaysia [ FINAS ] ) and licensed for Production and Distribution for Film and Video, Avicraft has established a strong presence with producers, business organisations and broadcast companies locally and internationally. Avicraft now works closely with these companies towards acheiving a similar goal; to continuously produce original high standard production while emphasising on hard work and total commitment.

Some of Avicraft's clients include private companies and organisations, the State's only privately-owned cultural exhibition and hospitality centre, the State and Federal Government Ministries and Departments, and the National Geographic Channels International (NGCI). This company now enjoys close ties with the Sabah Foundation Group; the main event organiser for the State and Federal Government, and the Sabah Cultural Board; the State's professional cultural dance troop.

In 2008, Avicraft joined forces with the Malaysian Department of Museums to produce a documentary on The Gambus (lute), detailing one of the oldest stringed musical instruments made by the Brunei-Malay community in the West Coast of Sabah. Avicraft was also engaged to document the Gambus Festival which was held in July 2008.

Music, Video & Film Productions

Avicraft's main business is in music, video and film productions.  With extensive experience and precise equipment used in these productions combined with the Film Production License (PF), Avicraft is capable to develop music, video and film productions from video DV and HDV quality to a film disc format and broadcast format in three stages; Pre-Production, Production and Post-Production. Avicraft also assist with ground handling of film sets - from filming permit application, location scouting to accommodation, transport and logistic arrangements.

Production and Equipment Rental

Avicraft offers production equiptment for rental.  This company provides a wide range of equipment needed for music, filming or movie productions as well as professional crews that can be hired for a specific task or on contract basis.  In addition, Avicraft also offers short-term training courses on video, film and documentary productiions.

Reproductions and Distribution

Avicraft is licensed and authorised to distribute any video productions in forms of CD, VCD or DVD. This company now enjoys support and services from local and international tv stations respectively.

Event Organising and Management

Based on previous successful records, Avicraft continuously provides professional organising and management services with exceptional management skills at any given time, venue or environment.

Photography

Avicraft is also passionate in the field of photography.  With large collection of digital photos, this company showcases thousands of photo collections for commercial purpose as well as for your viewing pleasure.

Computer and Multimedia

Avicraft supplies computer peripherals and computer maintenance services.  This company also offers media interactive development  services such as web designing, interactive application development for kiosk machines and CD, and for regional application development or via online.

JUSRY JUWAIT (Founder/Managing Director/Producer) 

Jusry is the main share holder of the company and is incharge of the company’s administration and operation movements. Graduated with a Master’s Degree in Multimedia Communication from Open University and an Information Technology’s Degree with distinction from Universiti Utara Malaysia, Jusry is a member of the Malaysian Film Workers Association and the Malaysian Artiste Association. He has acquired more than 10 years experience in media and film production. He has worked as a production and screen play director for several productions for many local telemovies and produced several documentary productions as well as interactive media development applications. Jusry was also involved in more than 100 productions, working as Production Manager, cameraman, video editor for creating corporate and promotional videos for the State and Federal Government and as well as local and international companies.

MOHD RASHID ABU BAKAR (Co-Cinematography)

Rashid possesses more than 13 years of experience as a cameraman and lightingman in producing dramas and telemovies in Kuala Lumpur and Sabah.  In addition to that, he was involved in the filming of dramas for RTM productions, local telemovies such as ‘Proton Saga Kelabu’, ‘Orang Kita, Ampal’ and a motion picture movie ‘Leftenan Adnan’. During those years, he has gained substantial experiences by working under the directorship of Aziz M. Osman, A R Badul, Mat London, Zulkifli Arshad, Din C J, Mior Hashim Manap and others.

RAYMOND DEAN HENRY (Assistant Production Manager/Propsmaster)

Prior to joining Avicarft, Raymond has worked as a medical lab technician and Dell IT Support technician. He was also involved in several local telemovie productions such as ‘Proton Saga Kelabu’ and ‘Hominodun’. Raymond, a talented singer and actor, is leading the Propmaster unit and special effects creation is among his passion.

JUSDY JUWAIT (Graphic Designer/Photographer)

Jusdy is an Information Technology graduate from University Tun Hussein Onn.  He is competent in digital photography creation. Jusdy is heading the Creative Arts and Photography unit of the company as well as being responsible in the Studio department for editing and animation work.
